Yann Annicchiarico (geb. 1983) lebt und arbeitet in Luxemburg.
Nach seinem Abschluss am Dnsep art de l'Ensba Lyon im Jahr 2011 präsentierte er seine Arbeiten in Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in Luxemburg, Frankreich und Italien. Seit 2011 ist er als Künstler und Forscher mit der Forschungsgruppe ACTH (Art Contemporain et Temps de l'Histoire) unter der Leitung von Bernhard Rüdiger an der Ensba Lyon verbunden.
Das Werk von Yann Annicchiarico spricht unsere Wahrnehmung an und konfrontiert unsere menschliche Natur mit Welten, die ihr unzugänglich sind. Untrennbar verbunden mit einem stillstehenden oder sich bewegenden Körper, der einen Raum erkundet, ist der Akt des Sehens in Annicchiaricos Werk der Träger eines Bewusstwerdens der Grenzen unseres Verstehens und damit auch ihrer Überwindung […] (Clément Minighetti, novembre 2021)

Yann Annicchiarico (born 1983) lives and works in Luxembourg.
After graduating from the Dnsep art de l'Ensba Lyon in 2011, he presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in Luxembourg, France and Italy. Since 2011, he has been associated with the ACTH (Art Contemporain et Temps de l'Histoire) research group led by Bernhard Rüdiger at the Ensba Lyon as an artist and researcher.
Yann Annicchiarico's work appeals to our perception and confronts our human nature with worlds that are inaccessible to it. Inextricably linked to a stationary or moving body exploring a space, the act of seeing in Annicchiarico's work is the vehicle for an awareness of the limits of our understanding and thus also their overcoming [...] (Clément Minighetti, November 2021)
